Control what you can control and let the rest go!
Hi Girls! Long time no chat! I am very excited about the new year. You know, times are tough but I thoroughly believe that we must control what we can control and let the rest go! I know that I'm simplifying complex times but really, that is my point. I refuse to stress out about things that are out of my control anymore. I mean really, what is the point of that? What is our intended outcome of stressing over things we can not control? And by stressing over things we can not control anyways we are not focusing our mental energy on those things we can control. In the past I would be so worried about the forest that I couldn't see the trees right in front of me. Know what I mean? So, this is the year I am vowing to be proactive. In years past I have fretted terribly over my business for example. I have fretted over things that really I could not foresee and were out of my hands. I am tired of being a "but what if!?" kind of gal! So, no more "but what if?!" I'm just simply going to do my best, put myself out there and let time and destiny determine what comes of it. I'm ready to move towards what I want out of life as opposed to moving away from what I don't want. I'm ready to focus on the positive! Regardless of the outcome of my efforts, I have learned that I feel best and learn the most when I can pause and reflect and honestly tell myself, I am doing my best and honoring where my heart is taking me.

I really love your new chair! So cheery and bright! I adore your little pillow, too :) I know what you mean about focusing on the positive (our strengths) and quit worrying about our weaknesses (or try to anyways)! Good luck with the new ideas you come up with for your CM business. I look forward to seeing what you come up with :) Take care.
